Our History
Founded in 1996 as an intervention model for Durham adjudicated teenagers between the ages of 13-17, we have expanded
our program to include youth ages 9-12.

Our Community
Proud works to prevent young people from choosing to commit delinquent and criminal acts, and to intervene
in order to prevent recidivism. We have maintained a rate of recidivism among graduates of less than 15%.

We provide programs and group sessions to put youth on the right track to be a productive citizen. Offerred programs and groups are
Work-Readiness, Young Women's Empowerment Group, Young Men's Intervention and Summer Camp.
